There was Internet connection (albeit temperamental) in the room and there was a fridge in the hallway with complimentary bottled water. The staff were very nice and helpful.
The decor and furnishings were a little worn, but for 66 euros per night, you can't really complain. Also, the continental breakfast is served in the bar at the corner. The coffee and pastries were great, but the tv in the place was so loud all three mornings that I thought I'd lose my mind. I felt weird asking them to turn it down, because the place was full of regulars, and we were visitors there.

The staff were friendly and helpful and there was free parking
As we entered the Hotel there was a strong smell of sewers! We saw no hint of a bar or restaurant. Carpets in the public areas were threadbare and the Hotel was in dire need of refurbishment. There was no aircon. and it is hard to understand how this establishment rates 3 stars.

The rooms at Hotel La Mota are seriously cozy and inviting. I felt right at home with all the necessary services to make my stay comfortable. The flat-screen TV is a great touch, perfect for relaxing after a long day. And let me tell you, the natural light that floods in through the windows of the spacious rooms is just magical. Oh, and don't even get me started on the exclusive Junior Suites—they're pure luxury!
I have to admit, the functional decor of the rooms wasn't really my cup of tea. But hey, that's just my personal taste.

The location was central and had free secure parking
The common parts really required drastic refurbishment and as we entered the hotel there was an unpleasant smell which seemed to come from the worn out carpets. Also the entrance lobby, reception area and desk lacked character and did not give a good feeling/welcome when entering.

The hotel staff was very friendly, perhaps the most friendly that I have encountered in Spain. The room was clean and comfortable, The hotel was well-located in Medina del Campo.
I mention this particular situation because I believe it reflects on the sense of customer service of the hotel. Because of an error on their part, the hotel had lost my reservation. My friend and I were sent to a hotel around the corner for one of our three nights. The second hotel was probably the best alternative in the area, but it was not equal to La Mota. In any case, I don't feel that the hotel staff ever really admitted the inconvenience caused to us: unpacking and repacking for one night, staying in an inferior hotel, etc. I think that their offer of one free continental breakfast (3.50 euros) is a sign of their lack of sufficient concern about the inconvenience that they caused. It's a shame because our stay was otherwise pleasant

Secondly, the staff were friendly and attentive. They were always ready to assist with any requests or questions I had. Lastly, the rooms were comfortable and well-equipped. I especially appreciate the air conditioning, which was a lifesaver during the hot weather.
All in all, my stay at this hotel was ok.

I chose La Mota - Bga Hoteles for its proximity to the Palacio Real Testamentario, which I wanted to visit. The free WiFi provided by the hotel was a pleasant surprise. I especially liked that breakfast was served from 08.00 am.
One blind in our room was broken, making it dark and impossible to see out of the window. Unfortunately, the staff couldn't fix it or offer us an alternative room, and there was no discount provided.
